Level 4 AAT Professional Diploma Accounting
Introduction
The AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting covers high-level accounting and finance topics and tasks. This online and on campus course is perfect for those who require a blended learning approach, looking to progress their financial career with this next step in AAT qualifications. You will look at and become comfortable with a wide range of financial management skills and applications, and gain competencies in: drafting financial statements for limited companies; recommending accounting systems strategy, and constructing and presenting complex management accounting reports. You will also learn about specialist areas such as tax, auditing, credit and debit management and cash and financial management.
The Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting qualification will suit those who have completed the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and would like to continue to build their accounting skills, or are already working in finance and would like a formal recognition of their skills.

Entry Criteria
- Level 2 maths and English (A* to C grade GCSE or equivalent)
- Level 3 AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting with the maximum of 2 resits during Level 3
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- If you are not one of our progressing students you will need to complete an initial assessment
This course is for students aged 19 or over, if you are under 19 you will be better suited to an apprenticeship programme. You may be entitled to apply for an Advanced Learning Loan to help pay for your studies. Call our course enquiry team on 01923 812345 for more information on fees.
You will need to register or renew with AAT directly as a student member. This is approximately £130 per annum.

Assessment Method This course is assessed through computer-based exams, which draws on and assesses knowledge and understanding from across the qualification. Students must successfully achieve the three mandatory unit assessments and two optional unit assessments to achieve this qualification.
