Access to HE Diploma (Health Professions) (Q002504)

This Access course is a nationally recognised qualification designed for people who wish to study a health-related degree, such as Nursing, Midwifery or Paramedic Science, but lack the traditional qualifications required for direct entry into university study. This course is suitable for students aged 19 or above.

All of our Access to Higher Education courses are accredited by Gateway.

  • Entry Criteria

    GCSE (9-4/A*-C) in English language or maths depending on your chosen pathway, plus a range of assessments at interview.

    Literacy, Numeracy and Science modules are embedded within the course which are an acceptable alternative to GCSE’s for most universities for mature students. We recommend that you check this with your preferred university choice. We are able to support you to work towards either a maths or English GCSE alongside your Access to Higher Education course.

    Students must be aged 19 or older on 31st August 2023 to study on Access to Higher Education courses.
