Foundation Degree Media Production

Introduction

Prepare yourself for a career in television and film production. We embrace a broad sweep of specialisms including factual and drama production. It’s a highly competitive industry and you’ll need a competitive edge. Combine skills development on the course with extensive work-based learning experience, building up a professional portfolio of work to present to future employers.

This two-year, full-time programme is designed to give students the opportunity to develop their creative and practical skills in media production to a very high level. Students will develop experience in their subject through learning about the skills processes and technologies associated with the media production industry, and put them into practice through a range of vocational projects. Students are given the opportunity to develop the skills needed to survive in the highly competitive world of film and television, as well as become aware of the business and contextual frameworks of the industry.

Our Foundation degree programmes are run in partnership with, and validated by, the University of Hertfordshire.
