Sub-contract Partners
Our number one objective at West Herts College is to play a leading role in transforming the life chances of local people. To achieve this, it’s essential that we reach out across the communities we serve, using the best people to deliver our training and development.
It’s for these reasons that we sub-contract some of the College’s services. As of September 2020 we have three partners delivering this provision:
- Free to Learn Ltd: These sub-contracted programmes support jobseekers to reach their full potential, providing courses to help people apply for jobs, gain employment and stay in work.
- Prince’s Trust: this sub-contracted work targets people who are not engaging in education, training or employment. The Prince’s Trust specialises in meeting the needs of young people in this position, engaging with local communities and running programmes to build confidence and improve core skills.
- iSales: this sub-contracted work targets people aspiring to careers in sales, which is a specific skills shortage that has been identified regionally and nationally. The team at iSales are former sales professionals with extensive industry experience. As accredited training providers they are able to offer sales training on both a bespoke basis and as part of apprenticeships.
