We take our responsibilities for the safeguarding of students very seriously. Safeguarding is essential to assure the safety and well-being of young people and adults in our College community.
For this reason the safeguarding of our students is given the highest priority – from the appointment of staff, governors, volunteers and contractors to the necessary checking procedures. This includes the curriculum itself and the College’s activities both on and off campus.
The College teams up with other services and agencies to share information and work together to protect our students from harm and to help them to achieve.
All our staff undergo regular training so that they are aware of issues and are familiar with our Safeguarding Policy and Procedures. Sarah Knowles is the College’s Designated Senior Person for Safeguarding, Child protection and Prevent, supported by a team of Officers and a designated Governor.
I really like coming to College - it's better than school, much more interesting, more practical and I'm learning what I want to learn.Kacper Bier, Media Student
