Students with learning difficulties and disabilities
We welcome applications from people with disabilities and learning
difficulties and will do all we can to meet individual needs.
Support is available if you need help with literacy and numeracy and we
can help if you have any language difficulties.
If you have Dyslexia, or think you might have, don't let it stop you from
taking the course you want. Our experienced staff can help working with you
and your course tutor. A Learning Adviser will help with any special
arrangements you may be entitled to during exams.
The following learning support is available for our learners:
- Assessment and teaching for students with specific learning
difficulties
- Communicators for the deaf
- Adapted materials for students with a disability such as visual
impairment
- Learning Advisers to support in class
- Note takers
- Extra support for literacy, language and numeracy
- Care assistants to meet individual personal needs
