Our Student Charter

At West Herts College we believe in putting our students at the centre of everything we do, we’re committed to empowering all our students to achieve their very best. We work to raise ambition, remove barriers to maximise achievement and ensure everyone receives a high quality service designed to meet their individual needs.

Our Student Charter informs all our students about their rights in relation to education and training, their role and responsibilities while studying with us and raises awareness of help and support that is available to you.

We are proud of our students’ behaviour – they are responsible and considerate. On rare occasions the College applies its Managing Student Behaviour Policy that is primarily designed to support individuals to develop the skills they need to be successful in life and the workplace. Where necessary, the Policy enables the College to take the actions needed to safeguard other students, employees, and the wider community.
